ADME/TOX

Early detection of compound ADME/Tox issues prevents wasted resources later on in the drug discovery process. Lead identification projects often aim to conduct this profiling in parallel with primary screening. One way to do this testing is to implement in vitro assays, with the aim of providing comparable data to more costly in vivo studies. These assays, developed using high throughput principles, can be automated to help drive efficient project progression.

A Cell Culture system that leverages HighRes® SteriStore self-sterilizing automated incubator technology along with vertical integration for a compact, small footprint solution for Cell storage and feeding. Two BioTek MultiFlo FX units are used for very rapid addition of media and washing, allowing for significantly improved throughput vs. traditional liquid handler based cell culture workflows. A custom designed, automated vici-valve setup is used for automated media change and cleaning on the MultiFlo FX units. The MultiFlo FX units are also mounted on device slides for very easy access for offline work and reagent bottle changes.
