HighRes Biosolutions announced today that 2012 marked the greatest overall level of growth in the history of the company with respect to bookings, customer base, headcount, and facilities size.  New bookings increased over 70% over 2011.  In addition, customer base increased by over 40% compared with the previous year, and headcount increased by over 30%.  Facilities also expanded by 70% in the US and 150% in the UK.

“Managing the company’s multi-year growth has been a challenge and a thrill,” said Lou Guarracina, President of HighRes.   “We’re very pleased with the way our customers have embraced HighRes’ philosophy of modularity, but we think our success is also about our relationships with our customers.  We act as an extension of their scientific and automation teams, and our customers appreciate the value we add to their automation efforts.”

HighRes’ unprecedented growth will allow the company to accelerate its research and product development efforts for 2013 and beyond.  “HighRes has always focused on R&D, and this expansion will allow HighRes to offer even more innovative products to our current customers as well as new offerings to industries and fields of research that are new to HighRes,” said Lou Guarracina.   “We’ve got an exciting roadmap of new products in the pipeline for the next several years.  We’re just getting started.”
