Integrate one or more devices in your workflow to enhance productivity. One PlateOrient is included with each Nucleus automation infrastructure system base platform with connected arm and co-located with a barcode scanner.
Stackable Configurations
Configure LidValet as a single two-nest unit or stack up to four LabValets for multi-plate processing. Stacked configurations utilize modified housing and cannot be separated.
Hardware Compatibility
Automated laboratory microplate delidders and plate orientation devices are FlexCart compatible for convenient Nucleus automation infrastructure integration. They also offer convenient Ethernet communications with SiLA2 compliant drivers.
Consumable Compatibility
All automated microplate delidders and plate orientation devices are compatible with most ANSI/SLAS-compliant labware including standard height microplates and deep-well plates. Metal gasket microplate lids may also be used with the laboratory microplate delidders.

FAQs
The incoming air pressure should be at least 70 psi, with the ideal being 100 psi, and no more than 120 psi for LidValet to delid properly.
Plate lifting is typically due to a lift speed that is too fast. LidValet’s upper and lower lift speeds may be adjusted so that plates do not lift when the microplate lid is removed.
Two tests can evaluate LidValet’s proper function. A cycle test performs 100 delid and lid routines to confirm repeatability. A vacuum test ensures that LidValet can maintain pressure for up to 4 hours.
Both delidders may be used manually or installed in any automated system where the robotic arm has access to both portrait and landscape orientations.
