TundraStore

Automated Low Temperature Freezer

TundraStore meticulously maintains precise
temperatures from –20 to +4 ºC so you can freeze and preserve samples with stone-cold certainty and also gently thaw samples at your convenience. Two models are available to suit your needs.

Essential Overview

Low-Temperature Automated Freezer add remove

Optimize Freezing and Preservation

TundraStore provides a consistently cold environment across the plate surface. It does so by combining precise temperature control and gentle rotation. Fast opening, dual-automation doors, and proven aerogel insulation in this powerful automated laboratory freezer foster an ideal contaminant-free environment to preserve your frozen cells and samples until you're ready to take the next step in scientific discovery.

Multi-Purpose add remove

One Tool for Freezing and Thawing

TundraStore offers a wide cold temperature range to boost flexibility and save precious lab space as an automated freezer and more. For example, use the TundraStore to freeze samples down to –20 ºC, or thaw and chill them at +4 ºC. When TundraStore is combined with our SteriStore self-sterilizing automated incubator, every stage of your cell growth, freezing, and culturing process is automated and consistent.

Automation and Flexibility add remove

Automation-Ready from the Ground Up

TundraStore supports multiple Input/Output nests for simultaneous plate processing. In fact, as the only automated laboratory with this capability, TundraStore may significantly improve your automated workflow performance. Additionally, TundraStore rapidly and easily connects and disconnects from our MicroDock to save space and cost while enhancing robotic system flexibility.

Two Accommodating Models add remove

Adjustable and Modular Cold Storage

Two TundraStore models (TundraStore D and TundraStore M) offer capacity and capabilities to fulfill your frozen and cold storage needs. Each may be docked and undocked with our MicroDock for convenient Nucleus automation infrastructure integration and moved for longer-term frozen storage.

Inventory Scanning and Control add remove

Scan, Monitor, and Track

Embedded barcode scanning empowers users to easily track and validate inventory across TundraStore and also self-identifies swappable stacker configurations to eliminate the need to set up inventory in your scheduling software.

Cellario Control add remove

Effortless Management

Power TundraStore through Cellario whole lab workflow automation software. In addition to smooth workflow scheduling and walkaway convenience, full Cellario control ensures that all devices in your network are optimally configured and managed.
