Self-Sterilizing Automated Incubator
SteriStore is the one multi-purpose automated lab incubator for all your scientific needs. With a wide temperature range, its flexibility extends to cold sample storage, warm cell and tissue culture incubation, and even hot nucleic acid isolation.
Essential Overview
Optimize Cell Growth
SteriStore provides a consistent, stable environment across all plate surfaces anywhere in the device. It does so by using ultrasonic misters for humidity control along with high-capacity heaters and gentle rotation. Fast opening, dual-automation doors and a proven aerogel insulation in this powerful automated cell culture incubator foster an ideal culture environment over the life cycle of your science.
One Tools to Suit Multiple Evolving Needs
Unlike other incubators that are configured to support a narrow environment, SteriStore offers a wide 4 ºC to 100 ºC temperature range to boost flexibility and save precious lab space as a multi-purpose automated lab incubator. For example, use the SteriStore to store samples at 4 ºC, incubate cells at 37 ºC, or heat DNA at 70 ºC; all with standard CO₂, O₂, and N₂ regulation to maximize your sample's environmental control.
Automation-Ready from the Ground Up
SteriStore supports multiple Input/Output nests for simultaneous plate processing. In fact, as the only automated lab incubator with this capability, SteriStore may significantly improve your automated workflow performance. Additionally, SteriStore rapidly and easily connects and disconnects from our MicroDock to save space and cost while enhancing robotic system flexibility.
Adjustable and Modular Storage
Two SteriStore models (SteriStore D and SteriStore M) offer capacity and capabilities to fulfill your storage and automated lab incubation needs. Each may easily swap out stackers to accommodate any ANSI/SLAS labware type.
Scan, Monitor, and Track Compatibility
Embedded barcode scanning empowers users to easily track and validate inventory across SteriStore and also self-identifies stacker configurations to eliminate the need to set up inventory in your scheduling software.
Effortless Management
Power SteriStore through Cellario whole lab workflow automation software. In addition to smooth workflow scheduling and walkaway convenience, full Cellario control ensures that all devices in your network are optimally configured and managed.
White Glove Treatment
HighRes lab automation experts and authorized technicians devote great attention to the service and maintenance of your impeccable HighRes products. By doing so, you can be sure that your vital automated workflow progresses with little to no downtime.
Features
Ideal for Many Applications
4 ºC to 100 ºC temperature control, relative humidity up to 98%, and standard CO2, O2, and N2 regulation.
Confident Incubation
Gentle rotation prevents or minimizes plate edge effects, even in 1536-well plates.
Prevent Contamination
A self-sterilization cycle runs at 150 ºC for 3 hours to ensure a clean sample environment.
Easy for All Skill Levels
Users of any experience level will find SteriStore easy to program, control, and track via its intuitive touch screen, integrated API, or directly through CellarioScheduler.

FAQs
Aerogel, also known as frozen smoke, is comprised of air pores trapped in a dendritic microstructure. It is highly effective at blocking heat transfer.
The SteriStore M has about twice the capacity of the SteriStore D. Both can accept an array of consumables such as 96-, 384-, and 1536-well plates, and deep-well plates.
The total water capacity for SteriStore’s humidity reservoir differs based on model. The SteriStore D holds a maximum of 5.5 L water, while the SteriStore M holds a maximum of 8.0 L water. Use only distilled water to avoid potential damage and contamination.
Yes! SteriStore may be installed on an enabled cart from HighRes Biosolutions that easily yet securely docks onto the MicroDock for mobility and use in multiple larger lab systems. There’s no need to reteach positions or reconnect power, communications, or gas connections.
Yes, all stackers can be easily exchanged within any other SteriStore, AmbiStore, or TundraStore device.
