HighRes Biosolutions, the leader in laboratory automation solutions for life science, announced today that Andy Zaayenga, Director of Business Development, received the 2010 International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) Special Service Award in recognition of his dedicated service and exceptional contributions to the organization. ISBER is the leading international society that addresses the technical, legal, ethical, and managerial issues relevant to repositories of biological and environmental specimens.

Andy accepted the award at the ISBER 2010 Annual Conference “Diversity in Biobanking” on in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He is newly elected to the ISBER Council, serving as Chair of the Automated Repositories Working Group, Chair of the Marketing Committee, and as a member of the 2011 Conference Program, Finance, and Web Site Committees. Andy also participates in the Pharma-Academic, Environmental and Informatics Working Groups.
