Achieving Carbon Neutrality
In 2022, HighRes was certified Carbon Neutral by Climate Impact Partners, a leading certification authority for environmental programs. This certification reflects our comprehensive approach to reducing and offsetting carbon emissions across various areas of our business, including manufacturing, site operations, and transportation. Our net carbon emissions for the year were zero, thanks to meticulous efforts in managing energy for our facilities, vehicles, and equipment, as well as minimizing emissions from business travel and material sourcing for our products. We are proud to have reached this important milestone, a testament to the hard work of our sustainability, facilities, and management teams, and we are committed to building on this success.
Investing in Carbon Offsets
A key part of our carbon neutrality strategy involves investing in verified carbon offset projects through CarbonNeutral. These projects support reforestation and renewable energy initiatives worldwide, such as the Degraded Grasslands Afforestation project in Uruguay. This project not only sequesters carbon through tree planting but also creates new jobs and preserves existing agricultural land. Certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), it balances sustainable timber production with habitat conservation. We ensure that all credits adhere to standards set by the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA), underscoring our commitment to responsible carbon offset practices.
Ongoing Sustainability Commitments

We are actively working to gather more precise data from our supply chain to better understand the upstream and downstream impacts of our operations.
